The Benefits Your Candidates Will Be Looking for in 2020

The Benefits Your Candidates Will Be Looking for in 2020 Taking a closer look at which benefits your candidates value most as we move into the New Year is an important exercise as recruiters. Our candidate relationships place us in a good position to be able to inform our clients of the most desirable benefits in the market. Heading into the candidate-short market we’re facing in 2020, it’s never been more important for employers to hold on to high-quality talent. We’ve put together a summary of what candidates will be looking for over the next 12 months according to our recently released Salary and Benefits Review, made up in part from a survey of over 2000 UK employers in 2019. Flexible working options The results of our survey reinforced what we already know: there is a desire for better flexible working options from candidates. Despite this, a third of employees are still not happy with their flexi-options, proving that many employers aren’t fully embracing the flexible working trend. Remember, flexible working isn’t just being able to work from home â€" it also includes flexi-hours around a core day, reduced hours and job sharing. Whatever form it takes, it’s important to ensure that employers offer specialized options depending on the needs of each employee. A sense of security Interestingly, three of the top five benefits offered to candidates in 2019 fostered a sense of security and long-term financial management rather than short-term benefits. Out of all the surveyed respondents, 35% were offered health insurance, 25% were offered pension over the minimum rate and 23% a travel season ticket. As a result, it may be beneficial for you to encourage your clients to consider offering benefits that fall under this category, as they reassure your candidates in this current period of instability. Better work-life blend Over two-thirds of surveyed employees (68%) said a work-life blend was important in attracting them to their current role. An example of this was the fact that above statutory parental leave sat within the top six benefits offered to 20% of surveyed respondents. Other similar benefits we’ve seen offered to our candidates that contribute to a better work-life blend include annual leave for birthdays and an annual leave buy-back scheme. A great work environment Some benefits are more popular with different age groups than others. A great work environment is one of them, as according to the results of our survey, it’s significant in attracting employees under the age of 45 to a new role. As this is a growing demographic, it’s important for employers to assess the work environment that they’re fostering and see if there are ways it can be improved. A great way to do this is an internal feedback survey or suggestions box, as this way you’ll learn exactly what your employees value in the workplace. By contrast, those over the age of 55 value a great salary above all else. Some other interesting benefits that we’re seeing Other benefits that your candidates are looking for in the New Year include a cycle to work scheme (22%) and eye-care vouchers (20%). These are all health and wellbeing related benefits, which again shows that candidates are favoring these over financial, short-term options. Other interesting benefits revealed in the survey include a baby bonus, supplied breakfast and lunch, and unlimited time off. We understand that your clients may not be able to offer all of these benefits, however, it’s important that they’re aware of the changing trends in what candidates value coming into 2020.

7 Day Checklist When Youre Running Out of Time - Classy Career Girl

7 Day Checklist When Youre Running Out of Time Do you ever feel like youre running out of time? How you manage your time directly affects the success of your dream business launch. That’s why what you are about to learn and implement is vital to your success. I know running out of time is the biggest thing that holds new entrepreneurs back. I get it! Previously I was juggling a day job, a night job, and growing my business on the side. Implementing the seven simple strategies in this guide was the only reason I was able to launch my dream business with very limited time in my day. Stop feeling like youre running out of time. Take one step per day, and your productivity will be on track by next week. You got this! Get started now! 1.Categorize It’s important to remember that YOU are in  charge of your calendar. Your calendar doesn’t control you. Over and over again I hear my clients say they are overwhelmed by their calendars. I want you to take back control of your calendar TODAY. I want YOU to be in the driver’s seat of your calendar. Your time is precious. Every hour of every day I want you to control each minute. I want you to be very aware of how you spend your time and where you might be wasting  it. Block out your time in your calendar this week into these three categories. Category 1: Focus Time.  This is when you focus on big vision items, income goals and revenue producing tasks such as sales calls, product creation, or working on a sales page. This time will move your career or business forward you have to block out time for this in your calendar.  What tasks in your week require focus time? Category 2: Administrative Time.  These are items you just have to do whether you like them or not, but they don’t necessarily focus on the big picture of your business and don’t always lead to quick successes and income. Examples of admin time are email management, calendar management, and social media.  What tasks in your week  are admin related? Category 3: Sacred Time.  These are items that are truly sacred to you and you want to make more time for them. These are the blocks in your schedule you don’t mess with.  What tasks in your week require sacred time? Day 2: Batch Did you know that every time you get distracted, it takes 15 minutes to regain complete focus? Batching is when you group similar tasks into blocks of time. During this time you have no interruptions or distractions. You can maximize your concentration and really focus on the task at hand. You will complete the tasks faster because they are grouped to streamline completion. You will increase your mental sharpness, creativity, and productivity and decrease stress, fatigue, and procrastination. Some ideas for batching: -Only look at emails or social media at certain times of the day. -Set a timer, shut off distractions, and only work on growing your business. -Batch errands, meetings, laundry or personal appointments. Or even better, batch delegating these! What are three tasks you can start batching together? [RELATED: Free Tools to Improve Productivity] Day 3: Make a Morning Ritual One of the biggest time mistakes I see made over and over again is waking up and checking email first thing. I did this too when I was in corporate and I always felt like I was running out of time in the morning. It really ruined my entire day!  Now my morning routine consists of journaling, meditating, listening to affirmations, reviewing my vision board and goals,  reading, praying, and exercising. This new routine has completely changed my life and my outlook on the day ahead. Even if you are not a full-time entrepreneur like me yet, I started doing these things every single morning when I was stuck in my day job and working on growing my business.  Try adding these a few of these things to add to your morning routine. Do them one at a time and see the difference in how you feel and your outlook on the day. Then, add in another.  Think about how you can revamp your morning routine tomorrow morning.  Some ideas for your morning are journaling, meditating, praying, reading, saying affirmations and visualizing your success. Day 4: Wake Up Earlier If you feel like youre running out of time, just make more of it. So you may not be a morning person but I really challenge you to use your morning time as your focus time. When you get home from work, you are tired, right? You already made the most important decisions and done your best work at your day job but that isn’t where you want to be long term. The more decisions you make in the day, the less you have for your passions, your dreams, and your goals.  So I challenge you to start the day working on the most important goal, and since you are reading this guide, I know what that is. Launching your dream business, right? Make the best decisions and do your best work on launching your dream business first thing in the morning! Day 5: Limit Your Priorities Now it’s time to make a list of everything you need to get done this week. Then, I want you to prioritize this list in order of importance.  I find that instead of making a to-do list with 20 things I need to get done each DAY, it’s much easier to make a priority list of 6 things I need to get done each WEEK. Then, I don’t move to #2 until #1 is done and I actually get all my tasks done for the week. When was the last time you can say that you finished all of your tasks for the week? The truth is, not everything you do is a priority. Some things you will have to let go of and some things you will have to say no to. Some things you can batch together in an hour and knock out fast rather than putting it on your weekly priority list. The key here really is to simplify your to-do list so it doesn’t overwhelm you. When you feel like youre running out of time, ask yourself these questions: -What are all of the tasks I need to complete next week? -What are my top 5 priorities for next week? -What are my administrative tasks for my administrative power hour? Day 6: Focus on the 20% The Pareto Principle (or 80/20 rule) states that 20% of your input creates 80% of your results. That means you must really focus on what is working when leveling  up and expanding your dream business. You need to focus on the 20% that is going to make the difference. 80% of what you are doing right now could be a waste of time. I want you to focus like a laser on the 20% of your business actions that produce 80% of your results. Most likely, these are probably revenue generating activities for you such as sales calls, writing proposals, creating partnerships or products.  What tasks and activities can I do right now that are going to move me closer to my goals for my business? What are the 20% of actions I can do right now that will produce 80% of my results? Day 7: Plan Your Weekly Review How do I plan out my week for success so I am not stressed? I go into Monday knowing exactly what I am going to do for the week. My secret is my Friday afternoon weekly review. Here’s my routine: Step 1: Clean up last week. Clear out email inbox. Clean up, organize, and get ready to start fresh next week. Step 2: Create my to-do focus list for next week with the top six things I need to get done for the next week prioritized as to what will help me move my career and business forward. Step 3: Knock out all administrative items that aren’t on my top six priority list FAST. These are tasks I don’t want to be doing throughout the week that are just going to be taking up my time when I should be focused on more priority items. Now it’s your turn! Ready to stop running out of time?

The Cool Guide On How To Choose The Best Swimwear In Hot Summer

The Cool Guide On How To Choose The Best Swimwear In Hot Summer The summer season is coming up and with that comes swimwear season. You might be amazed at the great assortment of different swimwear options that are available through places like Rosegal and many more. These places will offer some great wholesale options for swimwear but you have to be careful when looking for good options for the summer season. The options that you can choose from when looking for swimwear this summer will be varied, what with there being so many good options for men and women alike. However, regardless of the option you choose, you have to place a number of good points into consideration. Is the Material Flexible? The flexibility of the swimwear is an important point to consider. Lycra and spandex materials are often used in swimwear to allow it to flex with your body. This is important when swimming as a good flexible outfit can help you to stay mobile while in the water. This is especially important for men and women alike. Women need outfits that can conform to their natural body movements. Men also need swimwear options with waists that are flexible enough to where the material will not cause the man’s waist to be cramped or uncomfortable. You may still want to watch for any signs of wear on your swimwear even after you get it. Such wear points can entail worn out fringes and even cases where the color might not be as vibrant as it used to be. Anything that causes an itchy feeling around your body may also be a cause for concern as it is often a sign that your swimwear is wearing out and has fabrics that are not as strong as they used to be. Can It Handle Water Well? While swimwear can be appealing in many places, it also has to be designed to where it can handle all sorts of conditions that it might get into. In particular, your swimwear needs to be able to handle whatever pool chemicals might be in the water. This is especially the case with chlorine, a component used to keep water clean. Chlorine can wear out some swimwear products. This is due to the component potentially weakening either the fabric or the coloring used to make the fabric bright and beautiful. Either way, a good outfit has to be checked to ensure that it is not going to wear out from chlorine or other things that it might get into contact with. On a related note, you should see that your swimwear can actually handle a washing cycle. You will typically have to hang dry your swimwear to keep its properties intact but it should still handle a gentle wash cycle with cool water and regular detergent. Support Is Needed Swimwear from Sammydress will typically come with their own support features. For women, swimwear can come with strap materials that can keep a top on securely and comfortable. Meanwhile, a wire or padded support feature may also be added to keep the top comfortable and supportive. This may not be included in some athletic-minded outfits. For men, the swimwear needs to have enough open space for the man to feel comfortable in. Anything that might be overly tight could cause a man to feel uncomfortable. What Is the Design Like? The design for your swimwear should be comfortable and easy to enjoy. A good design may come with features like drawstrings to help you adjust the outfit. The colors that are on your outfit may also vary with different shapes, lines and borders all around. You should choose an option that fits your shape well and will give you a brighter appearance. Of course, it is up to you as to what you might prefer to wear. No matter what you choose to order, you have to look for swimwear that is easy to use and will make you comfortable. Anything that is easy to maintain and utilize will work quite well. Of course, the appearance of the swimwear will be just as important. Image Source; Image Source; Image Source

Professional Navy Resume Writing - How to Write a Navy Resume That Will Get You Hired

Professional Navy Resume Writing - How to Write a Navy Resume That Will Get You HiredAn impressive professional navy resume writing is one that can impress your employer. As a sailor it is very important to know how to write a professional resume for both work and travel. In this article I will provide a few tips and pointers to get you started on the right path. The first tip that will help you with your resume is to start with a profile that is not that impressive. This is because resumes are meant to be impressive to your potential employer. When you start with a resume that is not impressive to them you are giving them a reason to take a look at other parts of your resume as well. Therefore you want to stay away from this.Next, don't start your resume too early. This means that you want to allow at least two months for you to organize your paperwork and create a good resume. You will want to keep in mind that even if you put in all of your effort on your resume and then a month or two later you have forgotten about it you can still use your resume. It is possible to 'fall off the resume' and take some time off. Therefore you want to allow yourself some time to organize your paper work and come up with a resume that you will actually use.In order to help you create a Navy resume you will need to learn some tips and pointers. First you want to look for things that are essential. In this case, I would say that your resume is the first thing that the hiring manager is going to see. Therefore, if your resume is not great then chances are that your CV won't impress the hiring manager. Your resume needs to be properly formatted and well written. In your resume you want to state your skills and qualifications as well as your experiences. Your strengths should come from your experience, and your weaknesses should come from your skills. Also you want to get your weaknesses covered so that they do not put any burden on you. When you cover the personal details you want to be very clear and concise. Make sure that everything you are saying comes directly from you and not from some third party. You do not want to talk too much and leave some wiggle room for the person reading your resume. Also be very careful when mentioning where you were born or where you went to school. With all of the above said, you should be ready to write a Navy resume. Writing a resume is not an easy task. However it can be done if you know what you are doing.
